Project Overview:
This project began with the goal to investigate marine debris and to find an opportunity to help using my industrial design skill. Through research it was discovered the need to raise awareness and communal space to share debris on beaches. Transient Trash, a marine debris collection centre for coastal communities provides a network for those who visit beaches to see the accumulation of debris in a specific location, offer incentive to collect and a resource centre for those wanting to use the materials collected. Each collection centre stand would be located on a frequently visited beach.
